Since I started working at gap intelligence, I have learned about TVs, advertisements, retail pricing, and everything in between. I vividly remember learning my ABCs as a child and how I would often annoy my older brother with sayings such as "A is Apple, B is for Banana" to which one time he replied, "A is for Annoying." You have to love older siblings and the way they express their love for you. Even as an adult I never really shook the habit of associating new words with my ABCs, I know it might seem elementary but below is a quick A to Z of a few things I have learned about TVs.
TVs from A to Z
A is for Ads; I collect them every week.
B is for Best Buy; my favorite retail store.
C is for Consumer Reports; I love to read their reports.
D is for Data Center; that’s where our data lives.
E is for Element TVs; we track them.
F is for Fry’s; we have them on the west coast.
G is for GFD; we deliver the best.
H is for Home Electronic Devices; I work with those too.
I is for Industry Analyst; Deirdre is the best.
J is for Jing; it helps us capture pictures.
K is for Kenjiro Takayanagi; he built the world’s first all-electronic TV.
L is for LG; go and watch their OLED.
M is for Muse; a smart TV operating system.
N is for Nebraska Furniture Mart; they always have a bunch of ads.
O is for OLED; it stands for Organic Light Emitting Diode.
P is for Plasma TVs; it is an old technology.
Q is for Quantum Dot technology; you can see it in Samsung's TVs.
R is for Roku; I use it to stream content on my TV.
S is for Sling TV; my alternative to cable.
T is for TCL; they make TVs too.
U is for USB; some TVs have this port.
V is for Vizio; I own many of their TVs.
W is for Walmart; they have a wide variety of TVs.
X is for X-Ray; Amazon’s feature that gives you insights into shows.
Y is for YouTube; it can now be watched on some TVs.
Z is for Vladimir Zworykin; his CRT technology gave rise to “tube” TVs.
There is much more I could write, but I will keep it short and sweet, I hope you learned a few things about gap intelligence and TVs!
E is for The End!
