Hi! My name is Adam Wagner and I am one of the newest Gappers. About two months ago in the midst of the holiday season I started as a Research Assistant at Gap Intelligence. I look forward to being able to support the computers team, in particular Keenan, the desktop analyst!
I am so excited to be at Gap! In my two months here, we have moved offices, given out Hirooka Awards at the company holiday party, and had our annual company meeting. There are a lot of really exciting things going on around the office.
Amidst all the activities, I have begun to familiarize myself with the Desktop market and I have made a lot of progress in my journey with Excel. I have already caught myself geeking out about new desktop products and talking about industry news with my friends. For example, last night while out to dinner on Valentine’s Day I found myself describing the most recent Intel chipset issues to my girlfriend…
I found my way to Gap after graduating from UCSD in June of 2010. While in school, I majored in both History and Communications, and I was a part of the Eleanor Roosevelt College. Go ERC! Before college, I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area in a small suburb called Pleasanton.
In my spare time, I enjoy watching and playing sports, jamming with my band, spending time with friends, and dabbling in the world of SEO and internet marketing with my iPhone website. I hope that next year the Chargers will be able to pull themselves together and act like a team that had the #1 defense in the league and one of the top 5 quarterbacks…
Thank you all for taking the time to get to know me! I look forward to posting further blogs in the future.
