In an effort to boost interest in personal and small-home office printers, manufacturers are finding new ways to entice the buyer. The days of an off-white clunky printer sitting on your desk are long gone. Enter the new generation of stylishly-chic, efficient, and affordable options! These printers not only come in a variety of colors but they offer the latest technology to make printing easier than ever.
Canon PIXMA
Canon upgraded its PIXMA TS series ($79-$199) in various colors to suit your space. From Pinterest-worthy vibrant pastel shades of green and pink to bold basics like red and navy, these printers are made to fit in seamlessly with your home decor. Featuring simplicity, this PIXMA series offers an easy set-up process and is hardwired to make mobile printing a breeze. Opt for the all-in-one TS8320 and enjoy voice-activated printing (with Google Assistantor Amazon Alexa), a “6-Color Individual Ink System, including a special Photo Blue ink tank for more vivid and accurate colors,” along with the ability to create and print nail art with the Canon Nail Sticker Creator application. How cute is that?
Epson EcoTank
Epson revamped its EcoTank line of printers ($199-$499) “in a clean, sleek white finish” aimed at lowering supplies costs with cartridge-free printing. The high-end ET-4760 model also includes voice-activated printing, a 30-sheet automatic document feeder, and wireless connectivity. Consumers will appreciate that these new EcoTank printers not only look pretty in a home office, they also come with up to 2-years of ink included with the printer. Rather than investing in replacement ink cartridges at regular intervals, Epson claims that these ink bottles will save up to 80%-90% in printing costs. Epson is looking cute while being eco-friendly!
HP OfficeJet Pro
The re-imagined HP OfficeJet Pro models include one product that played off of Pantone’s 2019 Color of the Year: Living Coral. HP introduced the OfficeJet Pro 8035 model ($199) with standout Coral accents, as well as versions in slate gray (Basalt) and teal (Oasis). This printer model offers a smart solution to getting more bang for your buck as this all-in-one includes fax capability, allowing the consumer to accomplish more tasks from one device. HP designed the new 8035 to specifically help small business owners save time, reduce ink costs, cut energy use, and stay easily connected while offering its “best-in-class security” features. With the slogan, “Smart. Mobile. Secure.” HP is riding the wave that smart is the new cute!
