At gap intelligence, the first Friday in May can only mean one thing: the return of our annual Drives for Rides Golf Tournament, benefiting the Emilio Nares Foundation (ENF). This year we’re bringing to life the vacation plans we’ve all been side-eyeing for the last year. Think sunshine, golf, and cocktails as we, quite literally, swing into action to raise funds and awareness around this charitable cause!

In any “normal” year gap intelligence collectively shuts down operations on tournament day to do great for our community with this all-hands-on-deck event. But as we continue to navigate the course of the pandemic, things will look just a bit different this time.
What to expect as you look down the fairway:
- 18-hole play with cart
- Lunch
- Drinks
- Raffle prizes
- Swag
- A super fun day out on the course
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we won’t be hosting our usual dinner banquet and silent auction at the end of the day. This is particularly important because we are losing out on the crucial charitable funds generated during the auction when they are needed more than ever. ENF lost most of their government grants in 2020 as funds were shifted to help battle the pandemic. But cancer does not let up even with a pandemic surging across the globe. These kids are especially vulnerable, with compromised immune systems, and in spite of all challenges ENF continued to provide safe, clean and reliable transportation to patients needing to get to their treatments. So we are asking the community to step in where they can, and help replenish those funds for continued success.

We are in the final planning stages for this year’s tournament and are so excited to welcome everyone back to the Maderas Golf Club on Friday, May 7, 2021 (Shotgun start at 1:00 pm). Community support through a round of golf, your donation, or your sponsorship means that together we can get the ENF kiddos to their appointments safely. So pull out your brightest tropical shirt, polish off those clubs, grab some friends and meet us out at the club as we celebrate our 8th Annual Drives for Rides Tournament. No matter which way you slice it, this event is sure to be a hole-in-one!
