Role Overview:
As a Python DevOps Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing, deploying, and optimizing our applications and infrastructure. Your focus will be on improving system stability, monitoring, and metrics collection, with an emphasis on cost-efficiency and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage deployments and monitor infrastructure across various cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, and Digital Ocean)
– Perform basic DBA tasks, including managing permissions and indexes
– Develop new monitoring alarms and insights to enhance platform understanding
– Collaborate with IT to ensure company systems are robust and secure
Requirements:
– Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with cloud management tools like Terraform
– Experience with JIRA, Cloudwatch, and Linux
– Fluent in English
– Must reside in North or South American time zones
– A background in cybersecurity is a plus, though not essential
